    Beobachtungsuhr - LW watch

    Hello all,

I would like to hear your opinion on this watch and an indication of it's value.
The watch is not mine, but it will be sold and I promised the owner to help her where I can.

To me the watch seems period, the wristband not.
And that's about all I know...

    I appreciate your input!

    Best regards,

    Martin

      Also eine Reproduktion.
Schade, die Besitzer werde enttäuscht sein.
      Aber es ist nicht anders.

      Vielen Dank für Ihre Zeit!

      For the non-German spoken:

Unfortunately the watch seems to be a reproduction.
The text on the outside of the lid should be on the inside.
On the outside should be only the FL nummer and the worknumber.

Meanwhile I found a picture of the back cover of a good watch, and indeed: the diferences can be spotted with a blind eye...

What a beautiful piece, thanks for showing.
Great to see it still in the original packing!

Also the lettering engraved on the back, don't leave good vibrations...

@Harry: your B-Uhr is outstanding!!!!!! With its original cardboard box! You're the winner!

            Cheers!

I don't think that one day somebody will be able to upgrade Harry's Beobachter's watch. Fantastic item.

Thanks guys! The Laco is the more common of the B-Uhr, as they produced them in greater numbers. Mint examples such mine crop up from time to time, I actually has 2 boxed examples, one of which came off ebay..

                    wunderbar!!!!!!!!!!

zwar ist die laco die am meisten hergestellte, aber sie hat meiner meinung nach das schönste werk.

                      Great watch Harry!

Here is another one of those fakes. I bought it for $60 at the BX at Langley AFB in Va.

That 'made in China' sticker does it...
Should be obliged on every repro.

Thanks guys, I learned a lot.

                          Willi,

I have been looking for one of those Chinese copies to wear. Can you get another one?

I couldn't wear a made in China watch. I'll stick to my Hanhart Fliegerchronograph made by Hanhart in Germany (Europe)...
