M43 Luftwaffe Field Cap from Antique Shop

    Hey everyone,
I was surprised to find some 3 Reich items in an antique shop here in Tokyo.
The seller had no idea if they are fake or real thing. Among them I bought this M43 Luftwaffe field cap. As I’m not into collecting LW items I have no idea if the cap is real or just a repro. Also I don’t know what these are selling for so any comments are welcome. I have not idea how these items ended up in a local antique shop here in Tokyo but it’s an interesting story if it’s a real thing.

Looking forward to hearing your opinions.
    Best regards,
    マテイン

Cockade looks ok eagle no so good looking.
Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

As said its not a replica but a real postwar cap pimped to look a Luftwaffe one.

BTW, no M43 style cap of the 3rd Reich ever had that diamond shaped plastic (here removed) in the liner.

Good to know! I'm not familiar with LW caps TBH, so I guess it looked kinda convincing because of its age.
Thanks for letting me know what to look for with these caps !
As far as I understood the eagle is not a good one either? The stitching looked a bit messy to me when I first saw it.
