Fresh out of the woodwork, from a vet's wife. I have no knowledge of such items, preferring badges and medals. But I was impressed by the condition, and the original box. My basic research tells me that these are fuses, or igniters. I'm not exactly sure what they would be attached to? A Teller mine, or a "Bouncing Betty"?
Are these devices dangerous as they sit, or is a percussion cap needed additionally? Are the percussion caps present, or missing?
I'd like to understand if they are common to find, or more scarce? What should I offer, to be fair to myself, and to the seller? Other than the obvious missing fuse, it appears that the box may be missing extra pins, and pull strings. Is this correct?
Thanks for any input.
