Druck-Zunder 35a fuses in original cardboard box

Fresh out of the woodwork, from a vet's wife. I have no knowledge of such items, preferring badges and medals. But I was impressed by the condition, and the original box. My basic research tells me that these are fuses, or igniters. I'm not exactly sure what they would be attached to? A Teller mine, or a "Bouncing Betty"?

Are these devices dangerous as they sit, or is a percussion cap needed additionally? Are the percussion caps present, or missing?

I'd like to understand if they are common to find, or more scarce? What should I offer, to be fair to myself, and to the seller? Other than the obvious missing fuse, it appears that the box may be missing extra pins, and pull strings. Is this correct?

    Thanks for any input.

              D. Z. 35 it was designed for adjustment to various types of improvised anti-tank and anti-personnel mines. Fuze D.Z. 35 could also be used in the S. Mi. 35 AP mine and this combination often occurred on the Eastern Front.

Stick grenade antipersonnel mine. (This mine is improvised from the head of a stick grenade and pressure igniter 35 (Druckzünder 35, D.Z. 35), which is screwed into the head of the grenade.) Stick grenade cluster mine.

Thank you for the interesting info, Klarkon!

Now I can see how they were utilized.

Are they safe, in their current state?

Very nice examples guys! I've been watching for one of these complete boxes for a while. They are hard to find.

Beautiful, complete, sets. Thanks for sharing. And they seem to be very well-built, finely detailed and finished, mechanical devices.

I've just been offered this set, but neither the seller nor I have any idea of value. Can you guys please give us opinions?

It looks like the wood tray is missing from this set??

I can not comment on price. I added my set (cardboard box) in 2006 & it was only $90 from a vendor at SOS.

My other set...cannot remember the price. It was via eBay many years ago.

Very nice set. I'd say the days of less than $100 are long gone. Value...$300 to $400, in my opinion. Very cool item. I was able to purchase the set that I had started this three with. I love it.
