          These charges are often made of zinc. And sometimes they are attacked by zinc pest. How do you protect them ? Personally, I use wax.

            "Zinc Pest", is that like a termite?

            What type of wax do you use? By the way, very nice 3kg charge you have there.

              I use the Renaissance Wax but a bit expensive. This one comes from England and is used by British museums. But in my opinion, it's the same as wax for antiques. I also use it and the result is the same.
