    Dimensions of Russian 76,2mm shell cases

    Divisional guns mod.02, mod.02/30, mod.36, mod.39 and mod.42, tank guns L-11, F-34, D-56T. = 385mm long, rim diameter 90mm.
    Regimental gun mod.27 = 385mm long, rim diameter 88,4mm.
    Regimental gun mod.43 = 167mm long, rim diameter 87,2mm.
    Mountain gun mod.09 = 191,8mm long, rim diameter 87,2mm.
    Mountain gun mod.38 = 300mm long, rim diameter 90mm.
    76,2mm AA gun mod.31/38 = 558mm long, rim diameter 100mm.

                If not mistaken this last shell is a 7,62cm. See the pic, at the left is a 7,5cm for Kwk40 or PaK40, and at the right is a 7,62cm.


                Please don't confuse case with shell. Case is the part that contains the propellant gunpowder and shell is the projectile.
