Information on Trailers for 120mm PM-38 & 12cm GrW 42
Hi Draoich
That is very interesting what you have found out.
I read in Ian Hogg's book 'The Encyclopedia of Infantry Weapons of World War II', that the difference between the German and Russian trailers was the track of the German one was increased in width from 51cm to 57cm. Also the pressed steel wheels were perforated not plain.
I do not know how reliable this information is.
In the Finnish manual I have it does not seem to give dimensions, but the drawings show plain disc wheels.
The manual is dated 1941.
Regards
Richard
