    Rifle Grenade

    Hi!
Here Is One I Picked Up A Year Ago. The Cardboard Tube Is Not As Minty As Your's, The Shell Is Complete With All The Bore Safe Stuff
In The Fuze End, Not The Throwing Type. The Hed Is Marked Az5071 St
1369 44. Top Of The Head/fuze Isay7 And Two Dot's. Shell Rim Is Marked Stx4 44. It Came From A Collector Who Said It Came From Russia. Need A Launcher, Never Gonna Happen At The Prices. May Put It On E-stand. Shell Still Has Primer, But Hole Drilled In The Side. Some Thing Rattling Inside, Probably The Wooden Tip.

      Hey geopop!
Different variant, I like it very much, but I don't think you could ever send me that outside the US...
About the round: I dont't think it has a wooden tip, exercise rounds have, but not this one. Correct me, please, if I am wrong. Any markings on the cardboard container?
I am still enthusiastic, I need that launcher and stuff (pouch, bag for ammo etc)
      Best regards

        rifle grenade

        Tamas;
There Are Marking's On The Cardboard, But Are Un-readable, The Tube Is Torn Where The Cartridge Slides In, Also The Ends Are Not Readable And The Tube Looks Some What Fragile! I Do Not Know What Is Inside But It Does Sound Like Some Kind Of Little Ball Or Something. The End Of The Cartridge Has A Very Small Hole. I Have Seen The Wooden Blank Rounds That Look Like Real Bullet Tips. I Think They May Also Be Used As A Grenade Launcher.round.
The Fuze Head Has A Very Complicated Bore Safe Device Inside That Is Still Intact.
15 Years Ago, I Had The Chance To Buy A Rifle Grenade Launcher For The K98, No Kit, Just The Launcher, For $35.00 And Passed It Up. The Last One I Saw Went For $1100.00 Us. Some Even Higher.

The rattling thing should be the small wood piece which got loose over the time, it was usualy pressed into the neck of the case so there could build up the right pressure to burn the powder properly. There were many types of launching rounds for the various types of rifle grenades, but these rounds are hard to come by!

And for some nice stuff, check my pic******180;s my launcher and some grenades, all ammo is INERT! Still looking for some types of grenades but they are rare as hell!

                Hi guys,

Wow, that's fantastic! What would be the value of such a complete launcher set? Maybe incl. one grenade?

                Thanks,

                Albert

                      Rifle grenade

The grenade that Tamas presented has a KM stamping of Eagle M111/3, which I have seen only on late production Mauser HSc pistols procured by the Kriegsmarine. Does anyone have any information about the Marinewaffenamt service in general, and the assignment of the M111 numbers to specific other KM property?
