    Rifle granade - G.Sprgr.30 markings

    Dear Sirs!

I have this deact german G.Sprgr. in my collection (the starter round is also deactivated). On the igniter it bears an acceptance marking (M eagle III/3), which usually stands for Kriegsmarine.
    What is your opinion?
    Every comment is appriciated.

    Best regards
    Tam******225;s

There's nothing wrong with it; it's a navy issue Gewehr-Sprenggranate 30 in excellent condition.
One of the finest i have ever seen.

      Congratulations.

Thanks for the comment! I had no doubts regarding its authenticity, but I got confused by its KM markings.
I am happy you like it, I wouldn't have thought that it's so rare in this state...
              Thanks again!

              Some more pics coming...

3rd - I have an ammo box, marked auz (Polte-Werk, Arnstadt) also, it originally contained 2cm ammo, later used and restamped for rifle granade.

                      dogtagman!
I bought it from a collector, so no story... but as these were packed together by 50s or so, if someone found a box of it or two (different lot)...

6th - yes, it is the handgranade version

same manufacturer as on my package. so grenade and package should belong together.

very nice example, they dont show up very often in this condition and as a complete set. If you want to get rid of it some day, just drop me a line...
