As to the white visor, a quick web search identifies a Konteradmiral Meyer in the Kriegsmarine: Konteradmiral Hans Karl Meyer, who from February 1943 to April 1944 served as CO of the Tirpitz and from June 1944 to July (!) 1945 as Chief of Naval Operations of the OKM. See

Perhaps the two were related - his service records may confirm that.
            Hope of use.

It's a real treat to see a large grouping like this...thanks for posting.

                        Two questions, if I may:
Was the U-Boat badge part of the grouping and if so could we see closeups?

And is it known how the adjutant's aiguillette fits into his service record?

                        Best regards,
                        ---Norm

                          Hello Norm,

Yes, aiguillette and use on the frock coat fits in his records:

                          00.05.1938 - 00.12.1939.
                          Adjutant 2. U-Flottille SALTZWEDEL, Wilhelmshaven.

                          As Leutnant and as Oberleutnant

                          Regards
                          Christian

What makes this group spacial is all is keeping all together.
If one time come and you will sale the group please don't make a sin and split the group.

Groups that have been split never come together.

                                No worries :-)

I sold the group together to a collector who will not split it ! :-)
