In think I have found the answer as to why the telegraph in #1 reads ALARM and not TAUCHEN. If you look at the top there is a pin were once a button was. This was probably the light dimmer knob. This lightdimming telegraphs were installed in the conning tower of the uboat. In other compartments I did not see any telegraph with these dimming knob. I look forward to any pictures that can confirm that these telegraphs were installed in the conning tower only!
