    Kriegsmarine Machinentelegraph

I noticed a difference in the script of one particular section in the kriegsmarine Machinentelegraph: at 4 o'clock it reads "Alarm", other ones seem to have the script "Tauchen", what could be the reason for this difference?

That's the one how was sold on ebay.de last weekend nice telegraph machine but maybe a stupid question where these always used on U-boats i know electro and diesel seems to justified these thoughts but you never know. The Collector's Guild have the same telegraph for sale but in this case with the words TAUCHEN, sadly this specimen is incomplete and you have to pay a lot of dollars for this beauty

Yep that's right sold for €605 euros but that one was made for the Hauptruder which is interested but not like the one how was sold last weekend

              What's the difference?
I would like if you can explain, as these are something I know nothing about.
              Thanks in advance!

                Andjelo,
We talking about two different things the one how was sold for €605 euros was made to control the main ruder only. If you like i could send to you the link from the Ebay auction and you will see the difference ,

                    Ah, OK, thanks for clarification.

I lost the link to eBay auction so I didn't know how to compare two devices.

                    Now I see the difference.

                    Thanks guys!

KM kriegsmarine engine telegraph marked "Laden"

"Laden" instead of Tauchen or Alarm
