Notice on Laristers wartime pics.
Why is it the Coast Artillery tunics are many times so oddly sized, many seen have the belts and belt hooks worn high almost up to chest pockets bottoms, Ive seen tunics in person with this same sizing. Army and Luft tunics seem to be more consistant belt and hook placement and wearing to middle of top and bottom pockets or to top of bottom pocket flaps as one would expect.

Interesting observation, maybe personal preference how high to wear the belt, as these tunics have no front support hooks.
Also notice that 2 of the tunics shown are privately tailored tunics, which might explain some of the inconsistencies.
The guy shaking hands in post 294 has a 6 button tunic, very uncommon for coastal artillery, the guy shaking hands in the top picture in post 293 has external waist pockets and french cuffs. Both appear to have sewn in shoulder straps.
