I did very briefly consider keeping it and getting a tunic, but I don't have the room and I think the girlfriend would kill me

Thanks for all the help man

Good stuff! I don't collect KM per se, but I have picked up two KM coastal artillery shoulderboards. One is a cut-off picked up by GI that was in H./116 (29th.Infantry Division). The other one is also a cut-off shoulderboard and I picked up at a gun show about 6 months(!) ago. I know nothing about shoulderboards or cloth, but the shoulderboard looked nice to me and it was only $20.00. I will post pictures tonight and you guys can tell me what you think.

Okay, here are the shoulderboards. I hope the pictures are okay. The one on the right is the pick-up by the GI that was in H./116 (29th.Infantry Division). The one on the left is the one I purchased at a gun show about 6 months ago. Let me know what you guys think. Why did one have the anchor with the winged artillery shell and the other just had the winged artillery shell? Just a different style or did it have any particular meaning?

I am also attaching the back of each. By the way, what rank(s) are these? Thanks.

Here's another KM camo helmet that might have been an artillery helmet at one point. Named to a Matros Teichmann.

Thread boost- CA documents / paperwork

Good to see, that many collectors are filling this thread with Coastal Artillery (CA) items. Keep up the good work

As thread starter, I made some new pics today of CA paperwork that is in my collection. Maybe to give this thread a new boost:

Fill it also with your CA related documents, wehrpassen, soldbucher etc.
                    Enjoy the pics

                    Cheers,
