Anyway, I got a whole bag of them some where that were brought back from Italy by a New Zealand soldier in 1945.

Here are a few I could lay my hands on to show for now. Good one for "Leroy" amongst these for a lawyer/ justice

Here is another rare beast which was amongst them.

According to the NZ vet, this shoulder board was taken from the highest ranking German coastal artillery officer in Italy in 1945.

I must admit I have never ever seen another on a field grey backing but perhaps others can confirm if this is what it is ???
