Waffenleitvormann f. Küste

I have just added this Abzeichen für Sonderausbildung to my collection. It is a Waffenleitvormann für Küste patch, used by the Kriegsmarine from 1933 to 1940. Maybe one of you guys know which firm used the initials J.M.D. That is seen on the back of the patch.

Do I have to repost this one in another WAF thread since it seems that this NCO career insignia has all the characteristics of a Kriegsmarine 2WW NCO but remains a mystery to our community?
