OK, so I'll take look around if any gold acorn can be found.

Than it will represent gun chief, I suppose. Right?

Well, I think with a blue and silver interwoven lanyard you would need at least either a shell, winged shell or torpedo Anhängsel. One could add an acorn in addition if this gun chief or torpedo gunner had also qualified on rifle. One of the Anhängsel must be gold if the gold shield is there too. If you remove the gold shield then you could just have black or silver Anhängsel.

      Best regards,

Yes, the Anhängsels could combine, I understand.

I'd like to leave the gold shield if possible, so I'm running for the gold Anhängsel.

I looked over the dealer's sites, but with no success. Of course, this hobby is not one-day story, so I'll keep looking.

I'd like to get info if anyone has any info about where to find one, as said before.

Norm, thanks for the explanation. You're a real colleague.

              Hi Eduardo,

Great photo. But I wish we could find a period photo that also shows the Anhängsel on one of these...

Hm, this might be of our interest. Light colour and the devices . Could this be the one? It surely is much lighter than the colani jacket,
and it seems much lighter than the 1st-3rd grade blue ones...

                        Uniform Kriegsmarine replica

I do not know where should I put in the post so I decided here, but if not, the administrator could post in the right place.
So... I need some of your help finding your size XXL on Uniform Kriegsmarine (sailor jumper and trousers's blue) as it replicates in Epic Militaria does not have that size.
Anyone have any idea to buy in this part of Europe in preference because, I'm form Portugal. Thanks.

Here's an interesting award document for two reasons:

                          1) It shows that a Level 4 Schützenschnur was still being awarded as late as April, 1940. I don't know when the awarding of Schnurs ceased but my understanding is it was early in 1940?
                          2) It shows that to earn this, he hit 90 bullseyes in the 2nd Shooting Class.

                          Best regards,
