    Among the odds and ends Sgt. Hale brought back:

    A laminated military pass allowing him to be "absent from his post when not on duty", as well as some allied military currency. Front and back.

          Another military pass (left) and Sgt. Hale's driving permit (right). Below a souvenir certificate (P38 was not part of the stuff sold by the widow).

          Second picture shows reverse of military pass and driving permit.

          Third picture shows inside of driving permit. There was a four-leaf clover inside the permit.

            On to his souvenir.

            It is an FJ SD ET68 with lot number 5039. Condition is well worn, certainly not just found in a storage depo. Condition of decal is pretty good, all things considered..

                Liner is well worn, with some tearing. But all in all, complete and unmolested. Liner is a Karl Heisler.
