M43 fieldcap, can you learn me?

Hi!
I wounder, Im probebly going to go after a M43 Luftwaffe cap, which means that I will have to save money and buy me a worn one, probebly pretty worn
So what I wounder is: Can you learn me somethings to look after so that I dont get burned? (as I might not buy over the internet).
