    SS helmet

Don't know whether there is enough left for anyone to tell for sure, this one was found in a river. I believe the helmet is an ET (just my opinion from the shape).
Thought there might be some details left for the experts though.
I'd be surprised if someone thinks it's bad, but who knows these days with ss stuff, and I sure know nothing about decals.

Sorry to agree, the helmet is at best suspect.

to be honest , I can't say it is real or fake from the photos posted.
That is the problem with many dug helmets.
I lean more to good myself. Maybe try to make sharper photos.

I agree, can't make a decision of the pics but it has a chance of being a real ET.

The helmet has a lot of mud, damage on the front of the helmet. Not so much on the back. Perhaps the way it was in the mud.

It does appear to be an ET decal, but the runes seem to be above the break. IMO above normal position.

The shell might be a Q62 / 64. Which would end the debate.

In the water for many years ?

Well it's arrived , here's a better pic, hopefully good enough pic to have a better idea
doesn't seem to be much substance to the decal what do you think

Probably is ok but save your bucks if it’s not yours and put your money into something better... you will need a dustpan every time you handle the ground dug gem....

I think some of you guys can tell from the batch number at the back of the helmet, i cleaned a little section and can see the numbers I thought was 289 with my magnifying glass. Looks more like 299 in the pic though.
Does this help identify an ss helmet? Cant see the maker but I'm sure it's a ET64
