I want to share the following pictures from Doc Preusser i had in the mail today, send from the widow. They show the rooms of his gynaecologist private practice in DDR-Zittau (Rote Armee Straße-Red Army Street). She even send me an original Sterbeanzeige. I told here from the amount of positive reactions to his helmet, Feldflasche and Photos and she is very happy about it and appreciates the positive feedback. She could confirm that its exactly the same helmet he is wearing in some of the photos. She added that he wasnt a Nazi but a passionate doctor his whole life. A woman with the heart on the right spot.

                              News from the Doctor Preußer:

His original doctor thesis with his own pencil markings has been found and I was so proud being able to add it to my collection especially because he wrote the thesis on a similar topic like me (i was referring about liver cirrhosis) and we both studied medicine in Frankfurt am Main-Brüder im Geiste!

And meanwhile I have been told from a family member that he was fighting/practicing during the Operation Zitadelle at the Kursker Bogen. He used to speak often about his past and before he died 1990 he told his daughter that this helmet saved his live as his ambulance suffered under a russian air bomb attack in 1943 and he survived cause it protected his head from an impact (in the one photo he is wearing the M35 during a parade). At the end of the war he walked at home and started to lead an ambulance (see the pictures i posted the last time). He hasnt been treated bad because his patients were russian soldier too. Well of course its a story and not proven but the documents and photos underline that great estate.
