Need Some Help

    I'll tell ya that the leather used for the liner is WAY to textured. It should be smooth pig skin or lamb leather. This actually looks like cow hide. And, in this shape it should mosy likely be a brick-red, not brown. The LW decal is a low rez. knock off. You can tell in "certian" places in the feathers. The paint looks as if the same guy that keyed my car a few months back got to the helmet as well. And, lastly, I've never seen that kind of marking on a chinstrap before. Correct me if I'm wrong here guys, but they will almost always have a city of origin name on it instead of just nembers. This is probably a chin strap from another contry's army. Maybe Poland?

        A pigskin liner will be textured..
        Numbers only can be found on original chinstraps although this one's not original..

          No, this marking was never used by Polands army
