      Andy,

Take a look at the thread "M42 navy on Ebay" . I think it could help!

        Hi andy,

I also don`t like this decal... Better you look for an "classic" kind of KM decal, for example an birdie with an gold-brown outlinig, which can very often find at ET/SE shells...

        Regards Stephan

Here`s such an decal, not an very good angle at this image, but I think it makes clear what I mean...

I am not sure about this bird.

Anyone have a good photo of the thin-winged KM decal to compare with this one?

This is definitely a different variant, Different but not necessarily bad.
I also think it is a thin-winged KM. I have never owned one and I believe these are late war and unlaqured. I believe one was on ebay recently,

If I had to go strictly by the picture, I'd pass....Doesn't appear to be naturally aged and just doesn't look old...Just my opinion...

That decal is good. In fact, I used to own it. It is a thin wing variant & still pictured on Bruce Hermans site. I have no worries. Here are the rest of the pics...

                        Late war thin winged eagle.
Its the same type of decal that was discussed a while back as Ty mentioned.

Liner... Again - Bruce got this from his picker in LA. It's right as rain. The thin wing variant - pictured in Baers book is an actual period manufactured piece.

                            Wouldn't it be a Q by the way ?
