How can one tell the difference between the Army eagle and the KM eagle on an M35 helmet? The books I have don't answer this question and I have not been able to locate anythig on the web either.
I know that the Army eagles are sivler and the KM eagles are golden but throughout time my understanding is that some Army eagles have turned to a golden color themselves and that is my question...how can you thell them apart when this happens.
I have had this helmet for a long time. It has aluminum buckle on the chin strap not steel and is marked EF66 or ET66, can't make it out. The helmet is a rough finish grey/green color. I'm leaning Army but hoping for KM.
