I've had a life-long ambition to go on a dig, Russia especially.

Anyone else in the UK fancy a trip in the future?

I personally like battlefield relics. I used to metal detect for American Civil War relics down south. I have quite a collection of buckles, buttons, revolvers, knives, swords, all of them are a little rusty. The value of this stuuf has gone up quite a bit and are very collectable. I can see that the battlefield relics of WW2 will do the same. You know where these items have been. I don't think they are faking the battelfield helmets yet. Bill
