I'd say Heer too. Doesn't have the deep gold color to me.

sorry, Perry to jump on this, which has nothing to do with this thread...
JL, in fact I thought that I saw a anchor-type KM once in the booklet from Philippe ; 'Le Casque Allemande'. Don't have it near me, but maybe someone else can scan a picture of it?
I also saw a picture of an 'anchor-type' helmet in one of the militaria magazines. The helmet was described as a helmet for volonteers of the Italian RSI-marine ( post1943). I can post a picture of it if you want.
maybe we can start a new thread concerning these type helmets?

Thanks Perry, I presume that these ' Reichsmarine' helmets are pretty scarce, no? I never saw one in real. Are these being fakes? Probably yes.
Do you have one in your collection, Perry? Or someone else...

I would also like to join the debate,here is a photo of the decals from my M 35 helmets,first from left side is a Heer decal,the one in the middle,I must ask you guys to help me with,is this a KM or just a toned Heer decal,the last on the right side is KM.

And a few more decals from M40 a M42 helmets,top left side Heer decal M 40 helmet,bottom left Heer decal on M42 helmet.
Both decals on right side are from M40 helmets,are these KM or just toned Heer?
