Ditto. Most of the garage sales I've been too have had nothing but crap (execpt a minty U.S. ammo can I found one time for $12 ). It is my dream to find a German lid at a garage sale. Nice job man!

The helmet with the rubber band is very rare ,I cant remember seeing one here apart from one on a rusty relic and its nice to see an uncamoed helmet coming out of the woodwork for a change . I am sure a collector would spend over a grand on it no problems .The other looks like it has a bloddy liner .Rob.

The rubber band does not appear to be very old to me either. No rubber smell however, just a dirt smell.
