45 Helmet Liner - Opinions

What do you guys think? What's it worth? I know nothing about helmets and liners. If anyone is interested it is for sale/trade (field gear)

That stamp in german and czec appears to be a Q.C. acceptance stamp w/ control number. These words mean something like "certified" or "examined". The control number (447) would have been assigned to a specific QC inspector.
RAD is probably the maker's mark. Of course GR (grosse) means "size" in german.

This appears to be a civic liner produced in occupied czec.

I have seen some weird liners inside Luftschutz helmets before, and would assume that this one had a similar use.

The pattern of the material for the liner looks alot like the liner material commonly used in Russian helmets, it's just not blackened. The material used in Russian liners was supposedly upholstery material.

As far as germany was concerned, wouldn't this material be termed "ersatz cloth" or similar? kind of like a synthetic leather used for helmet liners, ammo pouches and the like?

Bakelite also comes to mind as a pressed substance that substituted for wood, such as it was used for bayonet handles and so on.

Weren't synthetic substitutes somewhat common in 2nd war germany, such as ersatz coffee, synthetic oil-rubber, and the like?

I believe the word "ersatz" in german means "replacement".
