Dave,
You have to understand how Peter's site works. He gets his items from individuals on consignment. The sellers dictate the price...not Peter. Peter adds his fees onto whatever the seller wishes to get for the item. If the seller is shooting for the moon then the price will be high. If, however, he is realistic then the price is reasonable. If items don't sell you will eventually see the item gone (the seller took it back) or the price lowered.
Hope this helps...

In my opinion fake camo applied to a likely honest helmet at one time.

I have to say that Peter is a very trustable seller ,not cheap at all but very serious in my experience and I 'm happier spending a bit more money on something good than make cheaper "deals" on stuff that leaves me doubts..

Did anybody notice the paint applied over the NS decal? It doesn't match any other paint on the helmet. It is my experience with the repaints that the paint usually matches and the entire helmet is painted over not just one decal in an irregular pattern. I know some decals were painted around and that is probably the effect this ass wanted, but screwed up with the NS decal.
