IV gruppo corazzato Nizza part of the 1st Regiment Nizza Cavalry
IV group was created on 1942 , based on Armoured cars AB 41 , and sent to Albania, where it surrender after 8 of september 1943 to the Germans.
The latin motto on the badge Nicaea fidelis ( Nizza faithful) is the acient motto of the Cavalry Dragons.
      Beautiful badge
      Ciao

AB41 , in Africa from May 1942 to the end, and for the IV "Gruppo Nizza" misto (with 21 armored cars + 15 tank L6/40) always transferred in May 1942 in Albania ...

Ciao Mufasa , do you mean that the Third Nizza dress a badge with the number IV?
They used the same badge? Is it correct? Number IV it is referred to the entire "tank Group"?

                    not exactly Andrea:
I had read an old article, on Militaria, the attachment of Diana Armi 15/20 years ago (I try to find it) on this badge of the IV and a contemporary order to Loiroli (? if I remember right) with an analogue for III a little later not delivered (or manufactured) for the war events of the III in Tunisia .... there should be in the article a design or the prototype .... I look for it...

                    ciao Oriano
