      I agree.

Shots no. 2-3-4- Captain of the Messina division's infantry. Rather unusual shoulder straps of the pre-war pattern, as for the rank's above the cuffs. A vet of WW1, so probably a well-aged captain. The third ribbon is for the medal for the italian reunification and the central stripe is faded green. In my opinion a modified M34.
Shots no. 5-6-7- Lieutenant-Colonel of non-divisional artillery. Another modified M34.
Shots no. 8-9 2nd Lieutenant of the Venezia division's infantry. Cuffs' ranks for the M34. Finally, a true M40 in officers' fabric.

I think no more than $ 300/400 for the full lot.

      Best regards

Yes, it's that for sure! Its position on the bar is as it should be.

the captain and lieutenant colonel are both officers of the reserve. you can understand it trought the their ribbon bars. For a career officer from the captain's grade or higher, the long-service cross ribbon is almost guaranteed. In this case, the reserve officers did not complete enough years to deserve it.

For the sottotenente, is correct no ribbon on the jacket.
Can you see in this case a name tag inside?
