I am thinking about buying a Carabinieri "Lucerna" to complete one of my uniforms. This kind of cap was in use for decades nearly without changes.
Now my question: is there any chanche to recognize a prewar Lucerna from a postwar one? Of course the most recent ones will have some sinthetic parts, but had the early postwar caps some details that distinguished them from the '20s-'30s caps?
