Hallo!
Can anybody confirm whether this is a WWII period Italian production MAB 38a or 38/42 (Beretta) magazine pouch? It is being offered as a 4 cell WWII production piece that fits the 40 round mags. I have seen two cell pouches in original photos with strikingly similar production details but never a 4 cell and never an example in current collections. I have scoured the forms without much success.
Hopefully some of the "local experts" can help positively identify the piece and its potential market value, as I have not encountered one of this style for sale before.
I am interested in any photos either period or current of verified wartime non-"Samurai" style MAB pouches, especially period photos of Germans using them if anyone's wiling to share.
Thank you in advance!
