Hi Luis, This emblem is the Spanish Civil War period, in the back is the signature of the manufacturer "ROKISKI MADRID"

The price varies widely, but a reasonable price is 400 euros, at least what I would be willing to pay maximum.

As for the name of the pilot, maybe it would be possible to find something in the Historical Archive of the Spanish Air Army of the link I put below.

It's a good piece and in very good condition, but 900 euros is too high a price. Right now I know not for sale, sorry.

Then if is marked "Madrid" I wonder how could it be Civil War period. Madrid remained Republican until the very end of the war and I doubt the republicans ever made wings for Franco during the war

Luis Rokiski was the son of a Polish officer arrived in Spain in the second half of the nineteenth century, and was a renowned writer I make all the emblems of Spanish driver from 1939 until his death in 1965.

And well after that date, as that type of Rokiski was still used well into the 40s (I even have a somewhere a picture of a General carrying one in the 70s).

So, no wartime metal wings ever made in Spain during the war? Not a single manufacturer of jeweler had a single spare minute during the war to make wings for the thousands of aviators of all types in the nationalist side??? All imported? Franco's Spain certainly needed foreign help, but to the level of ordering their wings to the Germans I have difficult to believe

For me, the nice wings in your photo are more likely a German piece of the 1939-44 period for LC veterans (as could be purchased from military effect shops & jewelers in Germany). Or maybe you have wartime pictures of nationalist pilots wearing your type of "German import" wings during the war?

There was no other manufacturer in Spain, from 1939 to 1965 (year of the death of Luis Rokiski), the only manufacturer of pilot's wings for the Spanish Air Force was Rokiski.

I insist, pilot wings during the war were manufactured in Germany, in Spain from 1939 to 1965 was Luis Rokiski single manufacturer.
