Note the differences between the NCO 'dress' tunic in Raffaello's pictures and the one under discussion here. The four button style is always an officer's style and is not repeated in Raffaello's NCO dress version. As I pointed out, only warrant officers were authorized to wear the officer's style uniform. Raffaello has clarified that the uniform likely privately purchased by sergeant majors (and possibly sergeants) was made with better cloth and a few other improvements, but remained basicallly an enlist uniform in style.
