WW2 Italian Flight suit: looking for Pics

    Hello Gents
My name is Taesung Harmms, and I'm a figure sculptor.
I've read that Joachim Peiper wore Italian flight suit during
the Ardennes Offense. It's a winter coverall type.
Does any one have pics? Thanks in advance.

    Regards
    Taesung

    Hi there!
Joachim Peiper doesn't wore an italian flight suit .... it looks like, but for sure not an italian prod.

      Thanks for the reply!
It looks like Peiper recalled that he wore Italian flight suit in the Ardennes
      during the trial in 1947.

        Hi there!

Is more likely an one piece grey panzer suit, with the fur collar add...

The italian flight suit are completely different in the cut, cloth, features...

        Cheers, Frank

          Thanks, Frank.
I decided to make the figure with U-boat leather jacket instead.

            You wellcome!

Remember to be inspired by an original jacket. Jochen wore the three pocket black navy leather jacket, collarless with exposed buttons.

This link could be help you!

Remember that usually the SS changed the KM buttons for the army peeble ones. Anyway, sometime, some jacket still carried the properly KM anchor buttons also on the Panzer... not on the 'jochen' jacket, indeed!

                Hi, again!

The suit you talk about should be this one. Goes at min. 1:30 of the timecode, there's a man wearing the one piece suit as that one wored by peiper, but on white side and with the fur collar add.
