Cobelligerent Army,Canadian made BD issued to a NCO of the Nembo Para regiment of the Gruppo di Combattimento Folgore (middle 1944, fall 1945).
Look the issue M.41 grey-green wool beret, never abandoned and on the
breast the honour brevet issued to all the former Folgore paratroops that
returned from North Africa in 1943.PaoloMLast edited by Paolo Marzetti; 01-15-2016, 05:22 AM.

Excellent pictures of uniforms. This thread is always a joy to visit.
There are some unusual and different pictures of RSI Nembo at AHF. See http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtop...?f=75&t=138812

Issue tags for M41 wool para tunic
Thought some of you might be interested in seeing this. This is an M41 para wool tunic which still retains the original paper issue tags. I have seen remnants on other tunic but never the whole tag. Somehow this one survived. The stamped issue date is hard to see but it is 21 Marzo 1942.

Thanks guys. Just curious, does anyone have detailed info as to what the individual handwritten numbers are on the tag? IMO, I think these are the inspector/seamstress (confezionatrice - maker) for each component of the tunic. If this is so, does this mean the tunics were manufactured in 5 specific pieces by 5 different seamstresses (note each number is different)? What I think it might be is that the unit of the Magazzino Centrale making the M41 tunic there were 5 different sewing groups probably divided into possibly: left front, right front, rear, left sleeve, right sleeve. Then, each seamstress in each group would sign their employee number. Anyone have comments? Would love some input.
Thanks
