an interesting photo unfortunately not with an good focus, the details
are very interesting with the MAB container cotton bag and the camouflage
jump jacket, the airplane with number make part of the paratrooper school.
      cheers

"six italians, dressed in rather unusual diving suits and equipped with materials of laughably little cost have swung the military balance of power in the Mediterranean in favour of the Axis".

Sorry for my delay in responding.
A friend has a belt buckle ,NO belt. came from a U.S. vets estate . he was told it was italian para trooper (it does have the para chute in the back round). It's very fancy looking , very well made = assumed , officer for dress.
this new owner has contacted several high end dealers.... " many books mention this buckle in description But none show it."
He'll most likely sell it but, needs verification of what it is. I have no photos of it.
it was a discussion at the last gun show, Wanting to know if I collected Italian ; I do not.

I'll see if I can get some photos , to post here , if I can. jeff

                    A drawing also can help.Better a photo.
However is this the buckle? If so it is the special RSI APAR buckle.

I believe post war veterans badge named on the back...correct or not? It has been repaired as the eagle has been reattached not in the right place with SOLDER.
