Here is a photo of a decorated Italian Para wearing the badge over his right pocket, along with an EKII ribbon, Edelweiss, wings, and cuffband ("for the honor of Italy")

Here some period images for those who are unfamiliar with these badges.

and also per Mussoloni's orders these breast badges were given as "friendship badges" to the German military instructors at the Grafenwohr training Center, who were involved with training these Italian RSI divisions.

So also worn by Germans as well.... but rarely!

Even some units who remained loyal to Mussolini's RSI, but did not get sent to Grafenwohr for German training were bestowed this breast badge. Per Marshall Rudolfo's Graziani's orders (1/12/1944) all Italian battalions on coastal defence duty were bestowed this badge, no doubt as a moral booster.

Here's another period image of these badges in wear (Note German gas masks)

Ric, I can not believe that the last badge was probably sold for 10

Since it was probably made in Germany I assume 10 stands for RM
