    Rsi Divisione Training In Germany

Here is my collection of RSI training in Germany badges .These were bestowed on the four Italian Divisions that trained in Germany

    Italia Divisione
    Littorio Divisione
    San Marco Divisione
    Monte Rosa Divisione

The bottom four both silver and gold/bronze are the accepted version
The top two are variations with one on the right I believe to be a period
repair. I am somewhat uncomfortble with the pin assembly on the top right one.
Tthe fronts though all appear the same.

Hi Dennis, all nice and original badges. The gold ones were destined to officers, while the silver ones to NCOs and EMs. The variations you showed (they should be a little bit smaller, aren't they) were the first ones issued and, probably, produced in Germany, while the other ones in Italy by Lorioli (well known producer). They were made in zamac.
A few people know that exists a very rare prototype with the blade of the fascio's axe on the opposite side (left instead of right).

Nice collection Dennis - what is the going rate for one of those?

Awesome badge collection! The RSI insignia/badges are some of the coolest of ww2 IMHO. These and those great Fronte Russo badges are hard to beat. Thanks for posting! Matt

Very nice badges, and getting now rare and very expensive...

Herewith the link of a video of Fascist Propaganda with Italian troops in Germany, during the Mussolini's visit in 1944...

Here's another one like Dennis's from my collection.

This variant is actually smaller than the ones made by Lorioli.
