OK gents, I'm on a roll with our new forum, so here are my Italian dagger questions for those knowledgable.
1. Did each service have it's own style of dagger for officers the same way the Germans did? (Army, Navy, Air Force, MSVN)
2. Did Italian NCOs have a dagger for dress, or did they use a dress bayonet?
3. Were fighting knives issue items or private purchase?
4. Did the Italian navy have a specific diver's knife, and how rare are they?
5. Did Italian paras have a special issue knife in the order of the German gravity knife.
6. Were Italian daggers all made in Italy, or were numbers of them contract made in Germany?
OK, I know, lots of questions! Thanks in advance for answers!
Cheers to all,
Johnnie
