M 33 found in Haute Savoie France

Hi guys
Here is a helmet I found in The Savoie this winter in a junk shop for 15 euros. It is complete with chinstrap etc. It has the Free French Liberation insignia on the front made from some type of resin type paint. On the left side there is a sort of metal plate welded on to hold the attirbute (feather or insignia)
I have added this feather I found. I am concerned that this metal plate was not original as it looks field made or as I am afraid added post war?
What are your opinions?

As Alpinis didn't have a specific helmet - understand with such a factory-made device - it can very well be field made. So, I'm tempted to think it was period done. Cool helmet.

Italian WWII Helmet with Flat Rivets

Bought few Italian WWII helmets - with flat rivets, rivets without holes...Rivets appear to be original to the helmets - I know that there were several (many, rather) modifications of Italian WW Helmets - anywhere from "no rivets" to "8 rivets" - however, never seen the helmets with flat hole-less rivets before...Plz help.

I have seen hat type also and I believe some with rivets like that are post war Spanish re-issue. I think they are also re-linered.
