Oh yes!!...Now I remember...I know the seller.
It is a decaled "Balma" helmet with eagle and tricolor

Friends of mine told me all about it...It's a "buck"

Could be interesting ask for pictures....

33 genio pontieri

According to the Vet son this was pick up on Anzio, the insignia is for the 2nd Genio Pontieri ( bridge engineers ).
This unit was in Africa and Russia and was dissolved after the King surrender to the allies, so this was probably a volunteer in the RSI army.
