Very nice set. However, the eagle has been machine sewn through the lining, so re-applied at some stage. Maybe when they did something to the breast pockets as well.

We took a close look at the bags. We think the bags are original stitched.
It is an Austrian producer. WB Wiener Bekleidungsamt.
Maybe a peculiarity of this manufacturer.

There's no way that he chest pockets are originally sewn that way, the seams of both pockets and flaps go through the lining which completely defies the point of the slits for the internal suspenders. The lower pockets had also something done to them, the pockets should be sewn down to the bellows all around at the edges.

Does the tunic have a manufacturer stamp? Or with WB, do you mean the stamp below the size markings? Because WB (with the B actually attached to the last stroke of the W) is the depot stamp for Würzburg. If the tunic was made in Austria it should have a W+date stamped for the Wien depot.
