Grenadier - Infantry Waffenfabrik

Initially Infantry Regiments had white waffenfabrik on their boards and collar tabs, but when they were renamed Grenadier Regiments, did they continue to use the white color?
Did it ever officially get changed to a different color?

The designation or change of name from Infanterie to Grenadier, Füsilier, Schützen etc. did not change the color of the branch service waffenfabrik.

I misread your post my bad. Are you referring to the dates next to the options for Infantry?

I'll stick my neck out a little on this one and say Yes, when a regiment received upgraded transportation and was designated a panzergrenadier regiment their waffenfarbe (branch of service color) changed. I'm sure there were exceptions, but in general I believe this to be the case.

The changing of the designation, if it is only grenadier or volksgrenadier does not correlate with a change in the color of waffenfabrik. It would still be white. For instance the 12. Infanterie Division was renamed the 12. Volksgrenadier Division. Despite this name change, it was still an Infanterie division is short. However these units were not set up exactly the same as a regular Infanterie division. For instance, on lexikon der Wehrmacht it states that these units were slightly smaller than their Infanterie counterparts and were more focused on automatic weapons.

Here is the makeup for an either Grenadier or Volksgrenadier division courtesy of Lexikon der Wehrmacht:

-2. Kp mit 14 Sturmgeschützen. Diese Kp führte ab Oktober 1944 die Bezeichnung Panzerjäger-Kp, ab Februar 1945 als Jagdpanzer-Kp 1007. Die Ausrüstung mit Sturmgeschützen war nicht einheitlich, teilweise kamen auch andere Pak auf Sfl. zum Einsatz.
-3. Kp mit 9 Flak 3,7 cm (mot.Z.)
Die Ausrüstung der gesamten Panzerjägerabteilung richtete sich nach dem verfügbaren Material und war extrem uneinheitlich.

-Stabsbatterie
-1 leichte Abteilung mit Stabsbatterie und 3 Batterien zu je 6 Feldkanonen oder Pak 7,5 cm (teilmot.)
-2 leichte Abteilung (10,5 cm leFH) mit Stabsbatterie und 2 Batterien zu je 6 Geschützen (teilmot).
-1 schwere Abteilung (15 cm sFH) mit Stabsbatterie und 2 Batterien zu je 6 Geschützen (bespannt)
Pionierbataillon mit 2 Kompanien (teilmot.)
