Unteroffizier shoulderstraps - Transport or Medical?

BROWN waffenfarbe variations.
For us insignia collectors, we know there were 3 usages of "Brown" Waffenfarben
(not to mention 1 nebenfarbe for HV)
light brown: pre-1936 signals
medium brown: Bautruppen
copper brown: Panzer Recon
Dealers seem to always describe any shade of brown as "Panzer-recon"
The slip tab horde found years ago had several with chainstitched numbers that correspond to only BAU units (eg: 159, 135, 12);
these were erroneously identified as "Panzer-recon". An honest mistake or an attempt to upgrade second rate construction units as elite armored reconnaissance units?

Here are photos of 2 riker mounts of straps & boards having "Brown" waffenfarben:
photo # 1 are all Bau units EXCEPT the 2 NCO straps on top left;
10th & 6th NACHRICHTEN pe-1936 examples. (and Enlisted Feldbluse # 7)
photo #2 are all COPPER BROWN examples (note the stylized "A" cypher!)

These are very interesting examples, and the shoulder strap copper-colored to a vaffenfarba with the embroidered letter "A" fantastic, never saw before!
Approximately in a month I will perhaps receive a quantity various a shoulder strap with brown color to a waffenfarbe, it will be interesting to compare to other shoulder straps with the same color.

The shoulder straps that started this thread look to be Transport & Supply.

Cornflower blue (medical) tends to fade to a shade of light violet. (Not always, but frequently.)

GENTLY roll the piping to the side to expose the portion of the piping that is sewn into the shoulder strap where it is not exposed to light. That will give an indication of the original color of the strap.

My views on the browns have been expressed in the SS forum.
