Here are the scans from one of the catalogues selling Dienenthal's items. I believe my service tunic is the one listed as item number 1755. The pictures LRRPS sent me of his tunic don't show the tailors label so its possible the listed tunic is his. Jim

Super Piece Jim. Have you tried to get his complete file from the national Archives ?
I generally use Rob McDivitt he doesn't charge if he doesn't find the file.

I got a copy of his file from the National Archives as part of the deal. But thank you for the tip. Jim

Fantastic tunic - congrats! LRRPS has been a great friend and research assistant to me also.

I managed to find a mannequin that the tunic fit. So its now on display. Maybe over time I'll find a Cav crusher and pickup the awards needed to make a late war display. Jim

Very neat Jim. He was a little dude as we can tell by the photos. Those guys often present a challenge to find a mannequin or even a torso form that will fit.

Thank you Stephan. I'm guessing this was taken some time in 1943, soon after he was assigned to the Cossacks. Jim
