The chest and outer wings are not detailed enough....it lacks the outer wire strip that normally runs along the top edge of the wings... and the elbows of swastika arms are out of shape so I'd say not. See the copies now sold on Marshals baton site.

I completely agree IMO this is a current reproduction. The bullion stitch is too loose.....the swastika is off center axis, the wreath lacks detail, the inside upper wing stitch shows stress pulling (machine). There is no age to the gold, especially at the point of contact with the wool. The rear stitches are covered with a pressed material that is too thin.
Several of these surfaced at the same time on a couple different sites.
Even the "cheapest" period general's eagle, is much nicer.
I agree don't like it either . The top row of bullion that a generals eagle has is not there and as stated the swastika is not looking to good either . Cliff
