Gentlemen.

Would I be correct in saying this is an other ranks M36 Tunic upgraded for officer wear? The Breeches are a heavy wool.

Both appear unissued with the awards loops perhaps added later for display.

Your input would be much appreciated.

In my opinion, it is a tunic retouched by a tailor.
Original M36 feldbluse retailored for an officer. Unusual liner
The bottom of the jacket is shortened and removal of the dressing pocket.
Beautiful set!

I agree that looks like a tunic manufactured using Dutch wool.

Juan, no, mine has no stampings at all inside but I agree, Dutch wool would seem to be the answer.

It is indeed Dutch manufacture as noted, the blue lining material is factory and also is Dutch cloth.

Nice tunic!! I like EM tunics which have been upgraded to Officer quality... The lack of depot stamps may indicate that it came directly from factory to the Heer's Officers Clothing Store as a private purchase item.

I have a Transportation Officers Tunic which was an upgraded EM Tunic.
