      Thanks for all details!

Yes the ends of sleeves are made from different material. Is it a period repair or lengthening? Lets see some detailed pictures. Plus some pictures of the sewn on PAB and the waffenfarbe.

      Best regards

Sometimes is difficult to discern between Cavalry and Signals with just a some pictures , but this time IMO is clearly goldgelb for Cavalry.

Anyway, a very nice tunic with a very desirable modified green collar!

          Congratulations!

            Pavel,
Very nice tunic and sword to go with it. Do you have the name of the NCO it belonged to?

The waffenfarbe is golden yellow, just slightly faded.

Are the additions of the different fabric the same size or different? That will tell you if they were repaired or just made longer. Show a picture of both sleeves together.

I really like the "E" marked tunics with their eagles sewn prior to the application of the pocket lid which is sewn over the lower portion eagles wreath.

Nice find! I like how the eagle is applied.

                      Tunic

Maybe its my monitor but I'm seeing rather poorly hand applied litzen and tress and EK ribbon? Hard without seeing it first hand but if the tunic has been tailored, I would of expected to see better applied insignia?

Hi, here are 2 more pictures.

First one showing that both extensions on sleeves have the identical size.

The second picture shows the insignia application.

                        Best regards

I would guess probably lengthened and not just repaired since they are so nicely done and the same size alteration.

That's a great looking tunic with plenty of nice details. Also good to see all the parts still together after all this time.

Can't get over how much I like this tunic.
                              A lot of character.
